This programme is built to support  research for generating new information, doing scientific interpretation or solving technological problems in compliance with scientific basis, and projects having advanced technology applications.  The purpose of the programme is to increase the national competitive capacity in international market within the framework of prioritized areas.

Universities, public and private corporations can apply to this programme.
2008 Application Deadlines are  January 2nd,  May 5th, September 1st.
The amount of support is  max. 120.000YTL annual and support duration is max. 36 months.

Short-Term R&D Funding Programme (1002)
Short-Term R&D Funding (1002) Programme supports R&D projects which are urgent, short-term and having minor budget, which would be conducted in research hospitals and institutes.

-Applicants should be from a universities, a research hospitals, or a research institution. Appliants should have at least a PhD degree.
-No time limitation exists for this programme.
-The amount of support  is maximum 25.000YTL for 2008 and duration is maximum 12 months.

Support Programme for Research Projects of Public Institutions (1007)
This programme is for public institutions and is designed to solve their problems or satisfy their requirements by means of R&D projects. As the "Customer Institutions", public institutions can propose projects in which universities, private firms or public R&D institutions act as "Project Executors". The projects proposed are assigned to one of the following units according to the scope of the project:

1-    Public Research Grant Committee (KAMAG)
2-    Defence&Security Technologies Research Grant Committee (SAVTAG)
3-    Space Research Grant Committee (UZAG)

- Application deadlines for 2008 are February 29th and August 29th.
- There is no budget limit. 
- Maximum support duration is 48 months.

Patent Application Promotion and Support Programme (1008)
Patent Application Promotion and Support Programme (1008) is initiated to increase the number of national and international patent application of Turkey, to promote people to make patent application and to contribute the consciousness of people for registering their intellectual and industrial property rights.

Global Researcher Programme (1010)
In addition to 2221 Guest Scientist Support Programme, which supports the participation of foreign researchers in the studies carried out by researchers in our country, this programme is built to enrich the international dimensions of the research projects supported by TUBITAK.

-Universities, public and private corporations can apply to this programme.

-Support amount is  max. 120.000YTL annual and support duration is max. 36 months.

The Participation Programme for International Scientific Reserch Projects (1011)
In addition to 2219 Abroad Post-Doc Scholarship Programme and bilateral agreements for mutual visits, this programme  supports our researchers in joint international projects that are executed by multiple research groups and organizations from different countries.

-Universities, public and private corporations can apply to this programme.

-Support amount is  max. 120.000YTL  annual and support duration is max. 36 months.

The Support Programme for the Initiative to Build Scientific and Technological Cooperation Networks and Platforms (1301)
This programme is built to support the establishment of cooperation networks and platforms between national and international corporations, units and groups about the areas such as basic sciences, engineering, health and social sciences, especially in order to align and develop our country with science and technology foresights.
-Industrial and business corporations, universities, public corporations and consortium of these can apply to this programme.
-No time limitation exists for application.
-Support amount is  max. 250.000YTL annual and support duration is max. 36 months.

National Young Researchers Career Development Programme (Career Programme) (3501)
The purpose of this programme is to encourage young scientists who hold a PhD degree and who are at the beginning of their scientific career by supplying project funds to their studies. The other goals of the programme are helping  young scientists, who are going to take the academic leadership of the 21st century, maintain their careers as a researcher and lecturer in a best possible way, improving the national scientific level and increasing the role of science in the national development.

-Applicants should have their doctorate degree in the last 5 years.
-2008 Application deadline is August 4th.
-Support amount is  max. 54.000YTL annual and support duration is max. 36 months.
